Music Program Audition Form

Along with my colleagues in Admissions, I share in your excitement on your acceptance to St. Bonaventure University. While you are now officially invited to join the St. Bonaventure community, you have not yet been admitted into our music program.

Admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Music program is conditional upon a successful live audition evaluated by members of the music faculty. The audition will consist of a performance of at least 10 minutes’ length on your major instrument or voice, showing a grasp of a variety of styles.

You can contact my office in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at 716-375-2320 or Lsabina@sbu.edu for specific requirements. Please complete this form no later than two weeks prior to your preferred audition date. If you reside greater than 150 miles from St. Bonaventure University, in lieu of a live audition, you may upload to your SBU Student Status page, a video of an unedited, recent performance that demonstrates your musicianship and technical skills.
